French Butter Cream and an update =)

Sooo today we worked with French butter cream..... its supposed to taste UH-MAZING!... but..

IT SUCKS TO WORK WITH!

Yeah it melts wayyyy to quickly... even after you spend like 20 minutes cooling and thickening it over an ice bath... screw you French butter cream and your sugar syrup crap!

But anyways, we used them on out Hot milk and butter sponge ( I got to fill mine with ganache! of the chocolate variety ..yumm!)
we also used it on our Chiffon cakes.

Soo in other news, My dads 49th birthdays on Wednesday and I got him his ultimate movie, Unstoppable.  Gave it to him when he dropped me off this morning, I think it made up for us leaving late. It feels great to make him smile.

Also, we wend bridesmaid dress shopping Sunday with Erin, Jaimie, Christine and My Auntie Reenie. Got a stunning dress i think Thanks again Auntie for helping pay for it! <3! I wont show it until it gets closer, but that wont be until the 17th of December when Tinie gets married, but I don't know if I'll make it until then haha.

Richard's adjusting to the homeless life, hes getting on track with all of his lo income housing things, hes sore a lot though, but thats due to the walking, hes learning money management, and todays our 9 month anniversary! its a big thing for both of us, its his longest relationship, and same with mine. I'm so glad we found each other.
